Today in class Ms sands asked us to post our book reviews. This book is called Mr Stink, I thought it was an easy and a interesting book. I thought it was a good book.

hello bloggers in class today we have been reflecting about our school production. This is what I think about the production.

Today in class I had to pick a book and read it for 15 minutes and write the answers for questions about why I picked the book. I have made a think link to show you about what this book is about and I think that it has very descriptive words and beautiful pictures.

How far have some students travelled in their lifetime to reach WPS?
Some people have lived in another country for a long time then came to New Zealand.

Is this a trend in NZ society? What does the media tell us?
This happens a lot because people come to New Zealand for a good education in the schools.

Why do people make the choice to move to different countries?
I think people make the choice to come to New Zealand because Its a beautiful country and people need a safe place to live.

My Motat trip.

My world of technology

Today in Cyber smart we have been looking at how chrome books are made. These are the different countries that made keyboards, crude oil and speakers. These things can be made in any country. Crude oil is used for metal

Problems to do with the internet

         Today in cyber smart my class was looking at scenarios. I had to make up a scenario and write questions about it. The answer for the first question  is to tell a parent or calm down and reply. The second answer is that they would probably be angry but what I would do is calm down and then write a sensible comment. I would also be nice and say sorry for their bad behaviour. If it continued then I would also tell a teacher at the school.

Get ready to roll

 

This is my work about wheelchair rugby. My teacher gave me a book called " Get ready to roll." This book is about wheelchair rugby. The wheelchairs are different because they have different wheels ( sharp sloped ), the wheels are different so that the people that are riding the wheelchair can ride faster and turn without crashing. My favourite part about this work was drawing the wheelchair.

My Abstract Art

This slide show is about my abstract art. This will tell you the steps of making this piece of art. The numbers are where I put my paint, pastel, crayon and dye. I used masking tape to make the curvy lines. I used different colours with different types of materials to make this art. Abstract art is good to express your feelings and doing something without planning on what your doing with art. The numbers are for the places to put the types of material. Number 2 was pastel, Number 3 was crayon and dye and Number 1 was paint. I used a special crayon to make this amazing paint. I just added crayon and water and that makes paint. When I took the masking tape off I coloured all the vertical lines white and all of the horizontal lines white. It was really fun making this piece of art.

Blog commenting

In Room Nine all of us had to pick a comment and fix it up so that it makes sense, or put the right punctuation in the right place, to make the comment better. Room Nine has done this with James our digital teacher, I picked this comment (at the top of my work) because no one could understand it and it was so confusing to read. I had to make a different version of the comment because the first we had to find a comment that didn't have punctuation and make it sound interesting.

This is a padlet that my class and I have made. I think that it will improve people's comments. The padlet is about what makes a good  blog comment.My list  is under the name Zoe. I learnt that you should make a connection about your work and other people's work, to show that comments make sense, and then we can start conversations. 

 I was told to improve one of my blog post so I chose to try and improve my digital footprint . I had already added a screenshot of my before and my after of my word cloud and the things I had to go on so I added the description of how I made a word cloud. At the end  I labeled my work and put it onto my blog.

At camp we did some orientation, the letters were on the trees. At first it was easy then it got hard.
There were two different groups, the groups were orientation and bivouac making. We had to take turns or there would be too big  a group. The teachers would have to take pictures of all of the bivouacs. It was so much fun. My bivouac was small and dry, it was a little bit damp because the rain poured down.Everyone had a different shape of a bivouac, some were big and some were small It was so interesting.














This is our soccer team, it was great fun learning to play. by the time it was the day to play soccer with actual teams it was so easy for us. Then it got hard! we lost twice and won three times it was the coolest day ever.

             I go on typing club the most for my typing skills and so that I can know where all the keys are.

                        Why do you think google shows up on every thing?
       
                     Because you search things up on Google and use things on Google.

                Do think it would be different if you did it in the weekend?

                                          No because I don't take my chromebook home.
